When most people think of an SUV, they picture something tall, large and sturdy with just enough style to appeal to a wide range of drivers. The Durango hits all these points on the nose. Combined, those systems allow the truck to alternate between four and eight cylinders, only supplying the extra power when absolutely needed. The systems work seamlessly and, when you hit the loud pedal hard enough, the 5.7L bellows out an exhaust note that is undeniably Hemi. With only 13,872 miles on the clock, this engine is just getting broken in!

Peek underneath and you’ll find a chassis that proudly displays its low mileage. The undercarriage remains clean and free of any visible issues. In the center, a six-speed automatic transmission further aids fuel economy, applying power to the road through a beefy differential equipped with 3.45 gears. Good for highway driving, towing and surprisingly fun in a good old-fashioned launch, the gear is well-suited to nearly anything you might put this Durango through. Around the drivetrain, the unmodified suspension consists of unequal length double wishbones up front and a multi-link rear. At the corners, tough looking 20-inch factory wheels are wrapped in fresh Kumho rubber.

Chances are, if you’re looking at an SUV, you probably need to carry people, things or some combination of both. No matter what the case, this Dodge will come through with flying colors. The black leather interior is showroom-new and utilizes a 2-3-2 seating system. That means you and six of your closest friends can hit the highway in comfort. Amenities include a premium stereo with satellite navigation, heated front seats, multiple-zone climate control and steering controls to operate nearly all of it. If people-moving isn’t the goal, push the back seats down and watch 84.5 cubic feet of interior space open up. Dodge claims the Durango has enough space to accommodate a 6ft couch! With a tasteful array of brushed aluminum and chrome throughout the cabin, the interior walks the line between luxury and utility perfectly. As a practically new vehicle, all soft surfaces from the carpet up look showroom clean.
