Michael Waltrip Racing

Michael Waltrip Racing began more than a decade ago as a family-owned Nationwide Series team in Sherrills Ford, N.C. In 2007, MWR served as a flagship team for Toyota Racing Development USA’s entry into both NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide competition. MWR owns Sprint Cup victories in May 2009 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and July 2010 at Chicagoland Speedway, as well as the 2009 and 2010 K&N Pro Series titles. In 2012, MWR will field three full-time Toyota Camrys in the Sprint Cup Series for Martin Truex Jr., Clint Bowyer, Mark Martin and Michael Waltrip.

Super Chevy Show

The Super Chevy Show tour is the premier national event for all Chevrolet enthusiasts offering something for everyone, from high-powered Chevy racing excitement to the spectacular Chevy Show Cars at tracks across the country. The Series boasts one of the nation’s finest Performance & Restoration Midways for GM products, as well as a Swap Meet and Car Corral at most events.

Fun Ford Weekend

Under new management, the Fun Ford Weekend series events are run by each host track to create a family oriented atmosphere for all Ford enthusiasts, young and old. Fun Ford Weekend events are designed to offer a little something for all Ford fans. From Ford-powered or Ford-bodied bracket racers looking to earn some “cred” on the drag strip to the restoration expert showing their finished masterpiece in the Car Show or searching for that hard-to-find part at the Swap Meet or at the Car Corral intent on finding the next “project car.” Each family-friendly Fun Ford Weekend event boasts a Midway offering performance aftermarket and restoration products from show sponsors and vendors, as well as Pro Shows featuring Jet Cars, Wheel Standers or Nostalgia Funny Cars!

Mega Mopar Action Series

The tracks that host famous brand-centric automotive events (Super Chevy Show and Fun Ford Weekend) have teamed up with Mopar Action Magazine to bring you the Mega Mopar Action Series for a family-friendly weekend of everything Mopar, like Drag Racing, Car Shows, Swap Meets, Midway Vendors and maybe… Autocross. Some even include celebrity appearances by “Big Daddy” Don Garlits.

Visit Charlotte, formerly known as the Charlotte Convention and Visitors Bureau, operates as the sales and marketing component of the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA). Guided by three main mission objectives, the CRVA markets by bringing visitors and events to the Charlotte region, manages by making the visitors’ experience positive and the events successful, and maximizes by marketing and managing in a way that continues to bring visitors and events back to the region.

SEMA

A love for cars, trucks and SUVs is the motivating force behind the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA). This trade association consists of a diverse group of manufacturers, distributors, retailers, publishing companies, auto restorers, street-rod builders, restylers, car clubs, race teams and more.

ARMO

ARMO's primary goals are to ensure the longevity and prosperity of the automotive restoration industry and to represent a unified voice on behalf of its members. ARMO will actively support and work with SEMA's legislative staff to address those legislative and/or regulatory issues which may impact the restoration industry; strive to advance and promote awareness of the restoration hobby; and work toward creating new business opportunities.

HRIA

HRIA's primary objectives are to ensure the future prosperity of the hot rod industry and to advance and promote awareness of the hobby. HRIA focuses on industry-specific issues, developing effective strategies and programs that will assist members in improving their business practices and procedures. HRIA also works with HRIA's legislative staff to address those legislative and/or regulatory matters which may affect the hot rod industry.
