If cars are your passion, welcome home.
Formed in 2010, RK Motors, LLC is built on a vision shared between Rob Kauffman, founder of RK Collection and co-owner of Michael Waltrip Racing, and Joseph M. Carroll, founder of Best of Show Automotive. Both lifelong enthusiasts, their decades of automotive knowledge and business insight allowed the company to quickly become one of the most innovative collector car retailers in the U.S.
Since November 2010, our east coast state-of-the-art showroom has become a destination for serious collectors from all over the world. With a 90% sell-through rate and an average of 40 sales per month, our 60,000 sq. ft. east coast sales facility always offers something new and unique to consider.
Aside from inventory cars, the RKM Performance Center has also restored some of the most legendary cars to ever prowl pavement, and those cars have gone on to collect trophies at some of the largest shows in the country. We've even worked with Toyota Racing Development to take their Camry in directions most had never dreamed by putting a NASCAR engine under the hood.
You may have noticed that our name has appeared on all forms of media and even a few race cars. From Quarter Midgets to NASCAR, RK Motors Charlotte proudly supports various racing series and our owner, Rob Kauffman, drives a RKM-sponsored Ferrari F458 Italia in endurance races like the Rolex 24 and 12 Hours of Sebring. He also drives his 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Historic Trans Am car is several races throughout the race season.
At the core of our operation is a group of serious car enthusiasts looking for ways to make the hobby more enjoyable and accessible to everyone interested. No matter where you look, you'll see this ideal reflected throughout RK Motors Charlotte. Our aim is to make buying or selling your dream car as simple and satisfying as possible.
We've built our reputation on selling world-class cars honestly and fairly. We hope to see you on our list of satisfied customers soon. Until then, see you on the road or at the track.
